Grace - God's New Society - Part 1 - The Miracle of Grace

In the months ahead we will be looking at how God can shape our hearts and lives towards what matters most. We are a church blessed with diversity and multiple cultures, but in Christ we are one family of faith, growing in grace and love for one another. Our church is blessed with diversity and multiple cultures. We come from many backgrounds, speak multiple languages, work in various areas of Hong Kong, but we find ourselves here… at this church, in this community and our love for Jesus is what holds us together.

The letter written to the church at Ephesus is a powerful and authoritative reminder of what God has done for us, and how we are His people.

Stories with Luke - Part 7 - The Kingdom of God

The Kingdom of God is the rallying cry of Luke. It is the present reality through the coming of Jesus. It is the future hope for all who believe in Him. It has come already in secrecy and humility like a carpenter riding a donkey. It will come suddenly and with great power like the King of Kings riding a white horse.

What should we do when faced with the awesome prospect of the Kingdom of God? Step 1: We pray, Step 2: We pray, Step 3…you get the idea.

Jesus tells a story of a woman who repeatedly asks for justice from a corrupt judge. This Sunday we will remember this story and how it should shape our lives today.

“There was a man who had two sons…” In Luke 15 we read one Jesus’ most well-known parables. It is a story of betrayal, repentance and compassion. And like all biblical stories, Luke’s stories, are not simply a delivery system for ideas. Instead, the story creates a world and then invites us to live in that world, to take it on as part of ourselves.

In Luke 12:13-21, Jesus takes on the danger of money and the relationship between how we spend our money and what we believe about the Kingdom.
