God and Money - Teaching the Next Generation

(Deuteronomy 6:4-9; Proverbs 13:22)

This is the last sermon of the God and Money series. We are going to think about investing in the next generation. Part of being a good steward of the money that God gives us is to think about what will happen to it once we are gone. None of this matters if we don’t have a growing relationship with Jesus. The most important thing we can pass down to the next generation is a love for Jesus.

God and Money - Spending

(Psalm 10:22, 21:20, 22:4; Titus 2:11-14)

The fourth sermon in the God and Money series. As Christians how do we spend money in a way that honors God? In this sermon, we see that Godly stewardship is not about limiting ourselves to the basic necessities or indulging in excessive luxuries. It is in seeking God’s wisdom, so that our spending blesses ourselves and the people around us.

God and Money - Fear and Greed

(Matthew 6:19-34; 1 Timothy 6:6-10)

In our interactions with money, we are constantly in danger of being ‘shipwrecked’ by the twin dangers of fear and greed. These emotions run deeper than just with money - they are symptoms of something wrong in our relationship with God.
