Revelation: The Seven - Part 2 - The One Who Conquers

In the letter to the church in Smyrna, Jesus affirms his Lordship over human history and that he is the one who died and lives forevermore. Jesus, the one who loves his church in Smyrna, applies his resurrection authority and love in a tender and courage-producing way to a struggling little church. The church at Smyrna was going to face heartache, suffering and persecution, but Jesus reassures them that faithfulness in the midst of persecution will lead to the crown of life.
