It is Finished - Part 2

Last week, Pr. Jay preached on the depth and costliness of the love Christ: “Christ loved us and gave himself for us.” His love was strong enough that He was willing to give up his life for us, so that we may be set free from sin. But his work was not finished with death. Scripture tells us that “on the third day” Jesus rose from the dead. And it is Jesus’ resurrection that is the basis of our hope. Jesus Christ was crucified, but he was raised again as well; and in Jesus’ victory we find our own victory over sin and death.
